By partnering with local organizations and leadership, we maintain our commitment to making a positive difference in our communities.
In partnership with the Fundación para la Protección de la Niñez (The Children's Protection Foundation), Energía Costa Azul has been working to improve the lives of children who live in orphanages in the community of Ensenada. Various infrastructure repairs, educational programs, a Christmas party and a back-to-school event are just some of the projects that have been realized for the benefit of the children.
Working with community partners including Hackberry School, the Hackberry Community Center and the Hackberry Recreation Center, Cameron LNG employees have taken a leadership role in developing two local annual events — Hackberry Summer Splash and Hackberry Holidays, two events that celebrate the richness of the community and its people.
Sempra LNG contributes to the well-being and economic development of the communities where we operate. We fund programs in the areas of environment, education, health and human services and safety. We also encourage the economic vitality of our communities through the support of chambers of commerce, economic development organizations and industry associations.
