Expansion information

Cameron LNG LLC submitted an application with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) in December 2005, to expand its fully permitted Cameron LNG project, which is currently under construction in Hackberry, La.  FERC approval was granted January 2007.

The proposed expansion would add another 1.15 billion cubic feet (Bcf) per day of natural gas capacity, increasing Cameron LNG’s total processing capacity to 2.65 Bcf per day.
