Job fairs a big success

Thank you to the nearly 500 Cameron and Calcasieu parish residents who attended the informational job fairs in Hackberry, Grand Lake and Lake Charles in mid-April.  We hope you found the experience helpful in obtaining information about opportunities for employment at the Cameron LNG facility.

Job Fair

With the senior management team already in place, the summer months will be dedicated to hiring the majority of the remaining positions before the end of September. Some items you’ll want to make note of:

• In early July 2007, we will begin our hiring process for the majority of the LNG operations positions, including lead operator, operator, operator trainee, electricians, instrumentation technician and mechanics.
  
  
• The application process is coordinated with the Calcasieu Workforce Center, located at 4250 Fifth Avenue, Lake Charles, LA.
  
  
  • All job openings will be posted on the Job Search section of the Louisiana Department of Labor Website, www.laworks.net.
    
    
  • Prior to interviewing, all applicants will be required to register in person at the Calcasieu Workforce Center.
