Keeping you informed As many of you have probably seen as you drive along Highway 27 just south of the Ellender Bridge, Sempra LNG's Cameron liquefied natural gas (LNG) receipt terminal project is well under construction. Scheduled to begin commercial operations in late 2008, this $750 million project will have the capacity to regasify up to 1.5 billion cubic feet (Bcf) of natural gas per day. The site can also accommodate expansion to up to 2.65 Bcf per day, and the company has recently submitted applications for permits as part of that process.
