Cameron LNG launches new Community Advisory Committee To stay connected with the businesses and communities within Cameron Parish, Cameron LNG has announced it is seeking local area leaders to serve on its new Community Advisory Committee. "We are excited about the opportunity to expand our relationship with the parish and its local leadership," says Kelly Prasser, the project's community relations manager. "The Community Advisory Committee will provide us with an additional opportunity to continue the dialogue with our neighbors on the progress of the Cameron LNG terminal and important issues that impact the community." Cameron LNG's Community Advisory Committee will be made up of seven community and business leaders from throughout Cameron Parish. The committee is expected to meet quarterly, and its principal responsibility will be to advise the company about how Cameron LNG can enhance its positive relationship with the local community. Applications for the Community Advisory Committee are available now at the Hackberry Recreation Center and all three Cameron Parish Public Library branches (Grand Lake, Cameron and Hackberry), and will be accepted through September 18, 2006. You can also receive the application online by visiting the community section of this Web site or by calling our toll-free number: 1-877-736-7729 ![]() |
